(Always Be Closing)
Always Be Closing (ABC) is a motivational phrase used to describe a sales strategy. It implies that a salesperson following the regimen should continuously look for new prospects, pitch products or services to those prospects, and ultimately complete a sale.

The line was made famous by Blake, played by Alec Baldwin, in the film Glengarry Glen Ross, directed by James Foley (1992).

“Always Be Closing” was adapted from David Mamet’s 1984 Pulitzer and Tony winning play that tells the tale of a group of real estate salesmen – of varying skill and success levels – who find out they have one week to close as many deals as possible, with all but the two top selling salesmen losing their jobs.
